More Dayquil Please!

Apparently the "plague" is going around - yep the flu/nasty cold. Ugh! It's been slowly spreading around me, friends of friends, labmates of friends, my labmate's boyfriend, and it keeps getting closer and closer to me. My labmate started to catch it this weekend and fortunately seems to have fought it off before it got really bad... but was she contagious enough to get ME sick??? Hhmmm, all I know is that I have a cold. Not a nasty cold - it's enough to make me want to blow my nose and want soup and tea and other warm stuff. Dayquil seems to be holding it back enough to where I don't feel terrible enough not to go to lab - I mean, I was in lab till past 11pm last night, so you know I wasn't feeling terrible - but I feel bad enough that I wouldn't mind not going in. Wish me luck that I don't get worse and please, pass the dayquil!
